Tigerville – North Greenville snapped a three – game skid to Converse on Wednesday night in Tigerville with an impressive 84 – 66 win over the Valkyries.
North Greenville's offense was sluggish in the first half as the Valkyries carried a four point edge in to half time. The Trailblazers started chipping away in the third quarter and built up a lead of nine points with 1:30 left in the third period clock. The lead ballooned to as many as 19 – points a couple times in the fourth period. North Greenville outscored Converse by 22 – points combined in the second half.
NGU had three players in double – figures including
Maliyiah Mason who finished with 20 – points and 13 – boards for a double-double.
Amiyah Ware had 16 – points while
Jayla Cook finished with 14. Cook also had eight rebounds and a pair of steals.
