The North Greenville Trailblazers improved their overall record to .500 for the first time since October 8th with a 3-1 victory over the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia. NGU narrowly took the opening set with a score of 28-26 before dropping set two 27-25. A dominant set three put the Trailblazers back in the lead with a set score of 25-12. Set four would prove to be competitive between the two teams, but North Greenville would come out on top with a score of 25-22. NGU finished with an attack percentage of .206 and dominated in service aces 11-3 as well as blocks 14-8.
Samantha Ball put together a dominant performance, finishing with a double-double with 21 kills and 13 digs as well as 3 assists and 2 service aces.
Peyton Taylor also put together a double-double with 11 kills and 18 digs as well as 4 solo blocks, a block assist, and an assist.
Reagan Funderburk recorded 8 kills with just 1 attack error and also provided 2 digs, a solo block, and a block assist.
NGU will wrap up the regular season at home on Tuesday, November 11th against the Tornado of King University.
