Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College with a final score of 84-77 earlier this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU trailed by nine points but closed the gap and even claimed the lead before the Bobcats were able to pull away in the 4th quarter, ultimately leaving Tigerville with a seven point victory. LMC outscored the Trailblazers by two points in the 1st quarter and five points in the 2nd quarter to take a 44-37 lead into halftime. North Greenville led the 3rd quarter, trailing by just one point heading into the 4th quarter. An early run by Lees-McRae allowed the Bobcats to maintain a manageable lead throughout the remainder of the quarter. North Greenville finished the game with a .439 field goal percentage and dominated in 2nd chance points 28-6. However, LMC led the way in points off turnovers 30-18.

Maliyiah Mason recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in addition to a steal and an assist. Jayla Cook finished a solid afternoon with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and a block. Quinn Johnston recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds, and an assist.

North Greenville will return to action on Tuesday, November 25th against the Valkyries of Converse University at Hayes Gymnasium.
