Boiling Springs, NC - The North Greenville Trailblazers stunned the Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb University with a 92-81 victory at Paul Porter Arena. After taking an early lead, NGU would find themselves down by five points less than five minutes into the first half. From there, North Greenville posted an eleven point run to take a six point lead. NGU would go on to lead by double digits, eventually taking an eleven point lead into halftime. The Bulldogs turned up the aggression in the second half. However, North Greenville would keep up with the Bulldog offense as both teams would end the half with 42 points scored, allowing NGU to complete the upset by double digits. North Greenville finished the night with a strong field goal percentage of .561 while going 15 of 30 from three point range. NGU also led the night in offensive rebounds by one, finishing with nine for the game.

North Greenville will return to action on Friday, November 14th against the Lions of Mars Hill University in the Southeast Regional Conference Challenge in Mars Hil, North Carolina.
