The North Greenville Trailblazers put together a dominant match this evening in Bristol, Tennessee with a 3-0 victory against the Tornado of King University. NGU led in every category including dominating in service aces 7-2 as well as total blocks 6-3. Things began with a one-sided set one including an 11-2 run by the Trailblazers who would go on to easily take the set with a score of 25-14. North Greenville continued the momentum into set two by scoring the first seven points. Although King would dig into the lead throughout the set, NGU would hang on to take set two with a score of 25-23. The third set proved to be similar to set two as the Trailblazers would begin with the momentum. A late rally by King made things close, but ultimately North Greenville once again ultimately took the set with a score of 25-21. 

Anna Fiddelke put together an impressive performance, posting 13 kills with just 1 attack error and also recorded 3 block assists and 3 digs. Samantha Ball also hit double digit kills, finishing with 15 as well as 6 digs and 3 service aces. Elise Smith put up 8 kills and 8 digs.

North Greenville will face the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive on Friday, October 10th at Hayes Gymnasium.
