Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers were unable to slow down a high-powered Belmont Abbey attack this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium, falling to the Crusaders with a final score of 5-0. BAC was able to get on the board early, and added another goal near halfway in the first half and going on to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Things did not improve for the Trailblazers in the second half as Belmont Abbey would add three goals within a seven minute span. North Greenville finished with a total of five shots, four of them on goal.
Valerie Hernandez led the Trailblazers in total shots with 2 and a shot on goal.
Anna Rickle provided 8 saves.
Angeline Montoya entered at goalkeeper for the final 24 minutes, posting 3 saves and no goals allowed.
North Greenville will return to action on Saturday, October 11th against the Hawks of Shorter University at Pepsi Stadium.
