Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers picked up a 2-0 shutout of the Lees-McRae Bobcats earlier this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. NGU scored twice in the first half, which proved to be enough to hang on for the victory. North Greenville's first goal came in the 19th minute when Holly Lanter scored with an assist by Izzy Fidhel. Finley Lloyd would add to the lead with a goal that was off the rebound of a penalty kick. Things slowed down for the Trailblazers in the second half as they would focus on defense. Facing eleven shots by the Bobcats in the second half, NGU would ultimately be able to preserve the shutout.

Holly Lanter scored a goal and finished with a total of 4 shots, all on goal. Izzy Fidhel posted 3 shots and an assist. Finley Lloyd recorded a goal and 2 total shots.

NGU will face the Belmont Abbey Crusaders on Tuesday, October 7th at Pepsi Stadium.
