Katie Crim Tabbed as Next Head Coach of North Greenville Women's Soccer

Tigerville – Katie Crim has been tabbed the newest head coach of North Greenville Women's Soccer, as it was announced by Athletic Director Will Lowrey on Monday. 
 
Katie Crim takes the helm of the North Greenville Women's Soccer program having previously served as the assistant coach for the Trailblazers from 2020 through the 2023 season. During those three seasons North Greenville amassed a record of 32 – 10 – 7, advancing to the league's final four each post season.  She was also an integral part of the NGU staff earning the Conference Carolinas Coaching Staff of the Year awards in 2020 and 2021. 
 
During the 2020 campaign, her first season in Tigerville, the Trailblazers were third in the country in goals scored. Under her guidance, NGU claimed the program's first ever Freshman of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and three First Team All – Conference Players. Two players earned All – Region honors during that three – year span. 

Katie graduated from Mississippi College in May 2020. Starting her collegiate career at the University of Arkansas, Crim suffered a serious injury and decided to continue her playing career at the Division 2 level. As a soccer player Katie earned the following accolades: Three year Captain, First team All-American , Academic All-American, All-region First Team, South Region Player of the Year, Gulf South Conference Player of the Year, Gulf South Conference First Team, Finalist for NCAA women of the Year, Gulf South Conference All-Decade First Team, and recipient of the Gulf South Conference Commissioners Trophy. Crim also played four summers in the Women's Premier Soccer League while receiving South Region All Conference Team.
