North Greenville Cruises to Win over Emory & Henry

Tigerville – North Greenville's second win of the season came in dominant fashion on Friday, beating Emory Henry 7 – 0 in non-conference play. 
 
The Crusaders earned the doubles point with wins of 6 – 3 (Grace Katzman/Kyla Steyn), 6 – 2 (Abigail Watson/Vitoria Maximiliano), and 7 – 6 (Naomi Sakakibara/Riley Gunter). 
 
The Crusaders were equally as dominant in singles play. Naomi Sakakibara got things going with a 6 – 0, 6 – 2 win. Ashlen Chapman won 6 – 3, 6 – 1 while Vitoria Maximiliano won 6 – 2, 6 – 2. Abigail Watson won 4 – 6, 6 – 4, 10 – 3 while Kyla Steyn won 6 – 0, 0 – 6, 6 – 3. Grace Katzman wrapped up the day with a 6 – 1, 4 – 6, 6 – 3.

NGU is back to Conference Carolinas play with a match against Francis Marion on April 5th.
