The North Greenville Crusaders led after the third set but ultimately fell short to the Bulldogs of Barton College this evening in Wilson, North Carolina with a final score of 3-2. After falling by just two points in set one, NGU recovered by taking both sets two and three with a score of 25-21 while posting attack percentages over .400 for both sets. However, Barton would bounce back to take set four by nine points and the final set by four. For the match, the Crusaders finished with a .283 attack percentage and led in kills, assists, and digs while trailing in aces and blocks.

Diego Rosich put together a dominant day, finishing with 21 kills and 8 digs. Logan Keothavy posted 14 kills, 6 digs, 2 block assists, and a service ace. Michael de la Cruz recorded 12 kills, 3 block assists, a solo block, a dig, and an assist.

North Greenville will return to action tomorrow against the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, North Carolina.
