The North Greenville Crusaders were victorious on the road in neutral territory with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Eagles of the University of Charleston in Belmont, North Carolina. NGU struggled in the opening set, falling behind by eleven points for a 25-14 set loss. However, the Crusaders would recover by taking sets two and three with a score of 25-21. Extra points were required for set four, but ultimately North Greenville was able to come out on top with a score of 27-25. NGU led the afternoon in nearly all categories including kills, blocks and assists. The win improves North Greenville's overall record to 8-7.
Logan Keothavy led the way for NGU with 15 kills as well as 5 block assists and 2 solo blocks.
Diego Rosich finished with 12 kills, 4 digs, 2 assists, and 2 service aces.
Logan Taylor provided 44 assists, 10 digs, 3 service aces, and a block assist.
North Greenville returns to action on Friday, March 22nd against the Bulldogs of Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina.
