Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders were victorious this evening at Hayes Gymnasium against the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive with a final score of 3-1. The Trojans put together an impressive opening set with just one error committed to take it 25-21. However, NGU would bounce back to even things up with a 26-24 set two win. Set three was controlled by North Greenville who would go on to win the set 25-18. Set four was closely contested, but the Crusaders would survive a late run by the Trojans to win the final set 25-23. The win improves NGU's record to 4-3 with a 3-0 record in conference play.
Diego Rosich put together a 16 kill performance along with 9 digs, 2 assists, a service ace, and a solo block.
Mark Autry posted 11 kills, 6 digs, 2 service aces, and a block assist.
Logan Taylor provided 50 assists, 5 digs, and a service ace.
NGU will return to action tomorrow against the Bulldogs of Barton College in Hayes Gymnasium.
