North Greenville Swept by USC Aiken

Aiken, S.C. – North Greenville was swept by USC Aiken on Saturday in a non-conference double-header by scores of  9 – 1 and 6 – 0. 
 
The Pacers scored five runs in the first two frames of game one. The Crusaders cut the deficit in the third with an RBI single from Karley Green which scored Callie Trapp. USC Aiken responded with two runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings. 
 
Green led North Greenville with a series high three hits in game one including the game's only RBI. NGU finished with five hits in the first game. 
 
USC Aiken spread six runs across three innings in the second game including a three – run fifth. North Greenville threatened several times but stranded six runners including three in scoring position. 
 
Emily Blackwell led North Greenville in game two with a pair of hits.
