Gaffney – North Greenville secured its first win of the season on Saturday afternoon upending Georgia College 69 – 55.
North Greenville trailed at the end of the first half but came out firing on all cylinders in the final 20 – minutes. NGU shot 46 – percent in the second period while holding the Bobcats to 20– percent.
The Trailblazers finished the day with 10 – points off of 13 – GCSU turnovers.
Max Topham led all scorers with 16 – points, knocking down four of seven three – pointers.
Jacob Brown finished with 14 – points while
Savion Brown added 13. Brown led NGU with seven rebounds.
