In a dominant performance to finish off the regular season, the North Greenville Trailblazers completed a sweep against the Southern Wesleyan Warriors in Central, South Carolina. The Trailblazers dominated all three sets leading to a definitive 3-0 victory.
From the start, North Greenville set the tone with a consistent performance, winning each set with scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-20 respectively. This win improved the team's overall record to 17-13 and to a 14-4 record in conference play. In addition, North Greenville and Converse finished the regular season with a share of the Northwest Division as both teams posted a 7-1 record in the division.
Key players for the Trailblazers included
Samantha Ball, who led the team with both 13 kills and 19 digs,
Peyton Taylor with 11 kills, and two aces. Alison Ball also made significant contributions with a high of 22 assists.
With the regular season complete, North Greenville will return to action in the Conference Carolinas Tournament, which begins on Saturday, November 16th.
