The North Greenville Crusaders improved to 11-5 overall with a 5-4 record in conference play by defeating the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College with a final score of 66-55 in Young Harris, Georgia. NGU trailed by a point at the end of the first but would completely dominate the second quarter, outscoring Young Harris 24-8 to take a 40-25 lead into halftime. The Crusaders would outperform YHC by a point in the third. The Mountain Lions led in scoring throughout the fourth quarter, but it would not be enough as North Greenville would hang on for the win. NGU ended the night with a .491 field goal percentage while leading in points off turnovers 16-9 and points in the paint 18-12.

Greyson Boone put together a solid performance, finishing with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Amaijah Smith provided 12 points, 5 assists, 3 steals, and a rebound.
The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, January 27th against the Braves of UNC Pembroke at Hayes Gymnasium.
