North Greenville Sweeps Chowan to Finish Off Regular Season

Tigerville, SC - North Greenville wrapped up the 2023 regular season with a doubleheader sweep against the Hawks of Chowan University, winning game one with a score of 10-2 and game two in walk-off fashion due to the run rule with a score of 12-2. The Crusaders combined for five home runs throughout the day including two home runs by Virginia Bishop and a grand slam by Brianna McRae. Karley Green received both wins on the mound, pitching a total of 7.1 innings and allowing just one earned run. With the regular season complete, NGU will enter the Conference Carolinas Tournament as the #6 seed, finishing with a 14-10 conference record.
