Tigerville, SC - North Greenville began a busy week at Jan McDonald Field with a doubleheader split with the Valkyries of Converse University earlier this afternoon.
Karley Green pitched a complete game in the opening game, but ultimately received the loss as Converse scored just enough to hang on for the win with a final score of 2-1. NGU left at least one runner on base in five of the seven innings. North Greenville saw much more success in game two, scoring four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth including a home run by
Brianna McRae.
Karley Green pitched yet another complete game and received the win with a shutout performance.
