Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders improved to 38-6 for the season with a 7-3 victory over the Nighthawks of the University of North Georgia at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. NGU pulled away in the first when
Jalen Vasquez hit a three run homer to right field. John Michael Faile would then hit a sacrifice fly in the third inning to put the Crusaders up by four. After the Nighthawks got on the board in the top of the fourth, NGU responded with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. The Crusaders then scored one more run in the fifth with an RBI single by
Jax Cash. After three scoreless innings, North Georgia would get two runs on the board in the top of the ninth. However,
Michael Rodriguez would retire the final batter to secure the win for the Crusaders.
