The weekly accolades continued this week for Reece Fields as he has been named the Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row as well as the Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). Against the nationally-ranked Braves of UNC Pembroke, Reece throw a complete seven inning shutout and allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out seven. 

For the year, Reece currently maintains a 3.18 ERA with 45.1 innings pitched and an opponent batting average of .221. The redshirt junior from West Columbia, SC will return to action in this weekend's conference series against the Mount Olive Trojans in Mount Olive, North Carolina.
