The North Greenville Crusaders left Banner Elk, North Carolina with a 3-1 victory over the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College. North Grenville was able to keep the attack errors to a minimum, finishing with a solid attack percentage of .429 for the match, NGU's lowest set attack percentage being .409. Set one proved to be the thriller of the match as extra points would be required, and plenty of them with NGU ultimately able to take the set with a score of 32-30. A competitive set two saw the two teams go back and forth, with the Crusaders able to edge out the Bobcats with a score of 25-23. LMC was able to get on the board in set three with a 25-21 win, but the Crusaders responded with a comfortable set win of 25-18 to close things out.
