Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put together a solid performance this afternoon inside Hayes Gymnasium, defeating the Flying Fleet of Erskine College with a final score of 3-0. Set one was never in doubt as NGU was able to pull away early and eventually win the set with a score of 25-19. Set two proved to be the most competitive of the match as an early run by NGU was responded with a five point streak by the Flying Fleet. From there, the two teams would alternate points until the Crusaders were able to end the set with four of the final five points to narrowly win it 25-23. The third set was put away early by the Crusaders, who scored seven of the first ten points. NGU would continue to pull away, eventually taking the set by eleven with a score of 25-14.
