Baseball Drops Series Finale to Francis Marion

Florence, S.C. – North Greenville's undefeated season concluded on Saturday following a 6 – 3 loss to Francis Marion to wrap up a three – game set. 
 
The Patriots scored a pair of runs in each of the first two innings to take a 4 – 0 lead. The Crusaders scored a pair in the fourth on a pair of homers from Pat Monteith and Marek Chlup but trailed 6 – 2 as the game headed toward the final third. The Crusaders scored one run in the eighth inning when John Michael Faile came around to score on a wild pitch.
