The North Greenville Crusaders showed up their offensive power in a sweep of the Cavaliers of UVA Wise, starting off the day with an 11-9 win then concluding the afternoon with a 15-3 victory. NGU posted a total of 28 hits with seven of them being homeruns. Game one resulted in a consistent offense by the Crusaders as they would score at least one run in all seven innings. Starting pitcher
Karley Green pitched three scoreless innings before running into some trouble in the fourth. UVA Wise would take the lead in the sixth inning, but North Greenville would quickly reclaim the leadwith three runs in the seventh.
Maddie Gore finished off the game, pitching 1.1 innings and receiving the win. Game two began with a 5-0 lead by the Crusaders. UVA Wise responded with a run in the bottom of the inning, but after both teams scored twice in the third, NGU would pull away for good with three runs in the fourth inning and five more runs in the fifth. North Greenville would go on to run rule the Cavaliers with
Maddie Gore earning the win.
