Tigerville, SC - North Greenville was unable to hang onto a late lead this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium, falling to the Lees-McRae Bobcats with a score of 75-74. The two teams swapped the lead throughout the second half, but it would be the Bobcats who would end the game with it as a jump shot in the final seconds put LMC up by one point. NGU was able to get the final shot off, but the clock would hit zero with Lees-McRae taking the win. The two teams finished with nearly identical field goal percentages, with the Bobcats narrowly leading the two by finishing .400 from the field.
