North Greenville took care of business earlier tonight in Emory, Virginia by defeating the Wasps of Emory & Henry College with a final score of 3-1 in the final nonconference matchup of the 2023 season. The Crusaders posted a solid .261 attack percentage that included an impressive .485 percentage in set four. Set one swung back and forth, but NGU would score the final five points to win it 25-22 before dropping the second set by a score of 25-20. The Crusaders would dominate set three early on, leading by as much as nine and going on to take the set 25-18. North Greenville managed a close set three, leading for the majority and going on to win the final set 25-22. The win improves NGU's overall record to 21-5.
Abigail Durham led the night in kills with a total of 18 while also completing a double-double with 15 digs and also posted 6 service aces, 3 solo blocks, and an assist.
Anna Fiddelke also put together an impressive night, finishing with 17 kills, a solo block, and a block assist.
Elena Dyer recorded 14 kills and 4 digs while
Ashlyn Conner provided 50 assists and 14 digs.
