It was a tough 2022 Pacer Invitation for the Crusaders as they dropped a pair of matches on day two of the tournament, starting with a 3-2 loss to the 8-1 Eagles of Carson-Newman then following that up with a 3-0 loss to the 7-1 Pacers of USC Aiken. NGU began the day on a good note, taking set one in extra points against Carson-Newman. Following set two and three losses, NGU bounced back with a dominant 25-15 win in set four to force a fifth set, which would ultimately go to the Eagles for the match win. The Crusaders finished the match leading in blocks with eleven and tying the Eagles with eight aces. Match two of the day proved to be a tough one as the Crusaders would go down in straight sets and struggle with a .083 attack percentage.

- Paige Campbell finished the day with nineteen kills, three block assists, two service aces, and a dig.
- Chandler Morrell had a productive day, posting sixteen kills along with five total blocks and three digs.
