Box Score 2 NGU ended their opening day of the Queens Fall Classic with a win followed by a loss, beating the Flames of Lee University in three sets then falling to the #1 ranked Spartans of Tampa University in three sets. North Greenville thoroughly dominated the opening two sets against Lee, taking set one 25-11 and set two 25-17. The Flames would put up a good fight in set three, forcing extra points but NGU would go on to take the set 26-24. North Greenville finished the match with a .289 attack percentage and dominated the match in aces 8-1. Things would get off to a shaky start in match two. Tampa would dominate the opening set, winning 25-11 with a ..458 attack percentage while NGU would hold a negative percentage. Set two would prove to be the most competitive of the match as North Greenville was able to improve with ten kills and a .156 attack percentage. However, the Spartans would continue its offensive production, taking the set 25-17. Tampa would then put the match on ice with a dominant set three. A .579 attack percentage would lead Tampa to a one-sided 25-12 set win to end the match.
