Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders began this weekend's conference series against the Tornado of King University with a 11-1 victory on yet another windy afternoon at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. NGU jumped ahead early, scoring seven runs in the first two innings and scored at least one run in all but two innings. Extra-base hit were common for the Crusaders as five doubles, a triple, and a home run were recorded throughout the afternoon. Four stolen bases were also achieved including two by
Marek Chlup.
Jax Cash, who pitched a predetermined 4.0 innings, received the win as he allowed just one run on three hits and a walk.
