The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Barton Bulldogs with a final score of 8-5 to begin the final conference series of the season in Wilson, North Carolina. North Greenville was able to get the offense going, scoring three runs in the 1st, a run in the 3rd, and a run in the 7th. However, Barton would match those runs in all three innings and score three runs in the 2nd as well to hold a small but manageable lead throughout the game. Both of Barton's base hits were home runs as NGU's three extra-base hits resulted in two home runs and a double.
