Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders achieved their first conference sweep of the season this afternoon at
Jan McDonald Field. After coming out on top in a low-scoring affair in game one with a final score of 2-0, NGU then followed that up with a come-from-behind victory in extra innings with a final score of 9-8. Down 5-0,
Brianna McRae would put the Crusaders back within one run with a grand slam in the 5th inning. Down two with two outs in the 7th,
Jenna Hewes would even up the score with a two-run home run to force extra innings, where
Virginia Bishop would get the walk-off hit in the 8th.
Bailey Pace was credited with both wins to hold a 9-9 record for the season.

- Bailey Pace pitched a complete game shutout in game one while also pitching the final inning of game two, recording both wins.
