All Nine of Starting Lineup Record Hits in Win Over Emmanuel

Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders recorded a total of eight extra-base hits in a 9-0 win over the Lions of Emmanuel College this evening at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. All nine batters in the starting lineup recorded at least one hit throughout the game. Seven of NGU's nine runs were driven in by home runs including home runs in the 5th by Cory Bivins and Marek Chlup. Up 6-0, NGU would score three insurance runs in the 8th including a three-run homer by Josh Senter to put the game on ice. Reece Fields pitched 6.0 strong innings to earn the win, allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out five. Nate Roof and Nathan Barolet also made appearances in the game, combining for 3.0 shutout innings.
