Crusaders Split Conference Series With Francis Marion

Tigerville, SC - North Greenville split its second conference series of the 2022 season with the Patriots of Francis Marion University. Although the two teams matched each other in hits as well as errors, the score would be one-sided with the Crusaders taking the opening game with a score of 7-2. Game two saw Francis Marion more than double NGU in total hits, but would be unable to pull away as the game would go on to require extra innings, and plenty of them. However, FMU would ultimately take the win with a final score of 7-6 in the eleven-inning game. Bailey Pace pitched a complete game in game one to receive the win. Hailey Wells would pitch 6.2 solid innings in relief, but would be charged with the loss.
