The North Greenville Crusaders wrapped up their week with a 3-1 victory over the Belmont Abbey Crusaders this afternoon in Belmont, North Carolina. North Greenville came out on top of a highly-competitive opening set, but dropped another close second set. NGU would respond by narrowly winning set three before removing any doubt and completely dominating the final set. Set one proved to bee a see-saw battle as an early Crusader surge was responded by a momentum swing for Belmont Abbey. Extra points were required, and plenty of them before North Greenville would ultimately come out of the set with a 35-33 set win. The second set would see both teams go on a big run, but BAC would go on to take the set with a score of 25-22. NGU bounced back by taking a narrow 25-23 third set. North Greenville would put any doubt to rest by completely dominating set four with a score of 25-7.
