After a historic 2021 season, the accolades continue for North Greenville's John Michael Faile. The 1st Team All-Conference Carolinas, 1st Team All-Southeast Region, and Southeast Region Player of the Year recipient was named to the 2021 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-America Team, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced earlier today. Faile is currently tied for 1st in DII in home runs with 23 and finished the season with a .438 AVG. He was the top contributor in an NGU offense that led the Conference Carolinas with a .351 AVG. Individually, he led the Conference Carolinas in batting average, slugging percentage, runs scored, hits, runs batted in, and home runs.

On Saturday, June 5th, Faile was also named to the Conference Commissioners Association All-America 1st Team, the CCA announced.
