NGU Alum Liz Dupree tabbed new Director of Strength & Conditioning for athletics

Tigerville – Liz Dupree has been named the new Director of Strength and Conditioning for North Greenville Athletics it has been announced by Athletic Director Jan McDonald
 
Dupree, a former North Greenville student athlete comes to North Greenville from Furman University where she spent the last year with strength and conditioning program under former NGU football standout Andre Bernardi and NGU volleyball and track & field standout Kaitlyn Bernardi. 
 
Dupree graduated from North Greenville in May of 2019 with a degree in Exercise Science. After graduation she landed at Lenoir-Rhyne University where she earned her Masters in Exercise Science this May. She also possess certifications from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). 
 
Liz Dupree started her career as a strength coach at Furman University in January 2019 when she interned at Furman under the Bernardis, primarily working with Furman's women's student athletes. She accepted a graduate assistant position at Lenoir-Rhyne. 
 
Liz Dupree is a North Greenville Women's Basketball alum, serving as a four-year captain for the Crusaders. She continued her experience with NGU athletics as a student assistant with the strength and conditioning program while still at student at North Greenville. Her husband Sky Dupree was also a student athlete at NGU, playing and started for four seasons with NGU lacrosse.
