Greenville, SC—North Greenville University will host its first-ever Trailblazer Champions Gala on March 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Judson Mill in Greenville, bringing together supporters, coaches and student-athletes for an evening dedicated to faith and fellowship
The inaugural gala marks a new milestone for NGU Athletics as the university works to establish itself as a national standard for how Christian institutions compete for and win championships while developing servant leaders on and off the field.
"The Trailblazer Champions Gala highlights the Kingdom Impact of NGU Athletics," said NGU Athletic Director Will Lowrey. "To cultivate excellence while developing the whole student-athlete in mind, body, and spirit."
The evening will feature a silent and live auction, with proceeds supporting NGU's 20 NCAA Division II athletic programs. Attendees will also hear from two North Greenville head coaches and former professional athletes: Nate Garner, a former NFL player, and Landon Powell, a former MLB catcher. Garner and Powell will share their personal testimonies and how their faith shaped their careers.
Guests can attend by purchasing a sponsored table, which includes six seats and the opportunity to be seated with a North Greenville coach and student-athlete. Individual tickets are also available. Registration is open at ngutrailblazerclub.com.
Those unable to attend the gala are encouraged to support NGU Athletics by joining The Trailblazer Club, which provides critical support for all 20 varsity programs. Membership includes exclusive merchandise opportunities, invitations to select events and games, and additional benefits. Fans may choose a general membership or designate their support to a specific sport.
