Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 victory over the Bob Jones Bruins at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU dominated sets one and three but the Bruins put up a fight in the 2nd set. However, North Greenville would rally late in the set to win it. With the regular season complete, the Crusaders competed their first ever undefeated record at 9-0 heading into postseason play. Erin Allen led in kills with fifteen.

Recap

• The night began with a 6-1 lead for NGU. North Greenville would slowly build up the lead throughout the set before ending it with a 4-0 run to win the opening set with a score of 25-13. NGU posted a strong .379 attack percentage while the Bruins struggled with a -.103 percentage.
• After the Crusaders started set 2 with a 4-0 lead, Bob Jones would stun the Crusaders by fighting back and eventually taking a three point lead. However, North Greenville would end the set on a dominating 9-0 run to win the set 25-18. 
• Set three was one-sided from the start by the Crusaders. After leading 8-4, NGU would go on a 15-0 run to take a 23-4 lead. Bob Jones would score three in a row, but North Greenville would finish off the set with a score of 25-7. The Crusaders posted an impressive .464 attack percentage for the final set.

Individual

• Erin Allen led the way for NGU with 15 kills, 8 digs, and 2 block assists.
• Kelli Davis was impressive as well, posting 9 kills, 5 total blocks, and 2 digs.
• Bailey Shultz made a rare appearance at libero, recording 10 digs, 3 assists, and a service ace.
