After dropping their first game of the Conference Carolinas Tournament, the Crusaders bounced back with a one-sided 21-8 victory over the Tornado of King University this afternoon in Wilson, North Carolina. NGU recorded 21 in both the run and hit columns. Six of NGU's hits resulted in home runs. They were also helped by the King pitching as North Greenville would draw eight walks with six of them being in the 9th inning. With the win, North Greenville will face the loser of #5 Barton vs. #3 Erskine, which will be played later tonight.

- North Greenville would get going early, scoring six runs in the opening inning including a two-run home run by Ethan Stringer and a three-run homer by Pat Monteith. John Michael Faile would add to the lead with a sacrifice fly in the 2nd and a solo home run in the 4th. Josh Senter also drove a run in with an RBI double in the 4th. King was able to get on the board with a sacrifice fly in the 4th and an RBI double as well as a three-run home run in the 5th. Up by five, the Crusaders would put the game away for good in the 7th as Pat Monteith and Jordan Holladay would hit home runs while an RBI double by John Michael Faile and a sacrifice fly by Marek Chlup made the score 14-5 in favor of NGU. King responded with a solo home run in the bottom of the 7th, but the Crusaders would pull away even further in the top of the 9th as a grand slam by Cory Bivins, an RBI single by John Michael Faile, and bases-loaded walks by Conner Driscoll and Ethan Stringer would put North Greenville up 21-6. The Tornado posted one last home run in the bottom of the inning, but NGU would go on to win by a healthy margin. Zach Taglieri was the winning pitcher.
