Recap
  • The opening set proved to be the most competitive of the match as extra points would be required to settle it. North Greenville would stay aheads of the Royals throughout the majority of the set, but Queens remained within striking distance. NGU led in kills for the set 16-10 but also slightly edged the Royals in errors 7-6. A .257 attack percentage compared to Queens' .143 was just enough to narrowly take the opening set with a score of 26-24.
  • Queens would put together an impressive 2nd set, recording 15 kills and a .308 attack percentage. NGU committed just two errors in the set, but a .250 attack percentage resulted in just nine kills. After being tied at 15-15, Queens would put together a 6-1 run to take a five point lead. NGU refused to go away, but Queens would ultimately take the set 25-21.
  • Set 3 ended up as a struggle for both teams. North Greenville would post a .158 attack percentage while the Royals could only manage a .061 percentage. Queens would lead the set early, but a 7-1 run by the Crusaders to lead 19-14 would lead to a 25-23 set win.
  • NGU would impress in the 4th set, recording a .406 attack percentage. Queens improved from the 3rd set with a .241 percentage, but the Crusaders would prove to be too much for the Royals.
