Spartanburg – North Greenville women are still searching for their first team win after 7-0 loss to Wofford College on Thursday afternoon.
The Crusaders struggled in doubles play, dropping all three sets to the Terriers.
Mitzy Enderink and
Jhovana Brena fell 6-1 while
Larissa Berger and
Naomi Sakakibara fell 6-0.
Makena Newsome and
Merit Morgan lost their doubles set 6-0.
In singles,
Jhovana Brena lost her singles pairing 1-6, 6-2 in the first spot while
Mitzy Enderink put up the most resistance but fell 3-6, 2-6 in the second slot for NGU.
Larissa Berger played to a 3-6, 1-6 loss and
Naomi Sakakibara lost 1-6, 0-6. Makenna Newsome and
Hannah Sepko both lost 0-6, 0-6.
North Greenville will host Young Harris College on Saturday at 11:30 AM.
