Larissa Berger Takes Lone Victory in Loss to Belmont Abbey

NGU fell to the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey with a final score of 6-1 in Belmont, North Carolina. North Greenville now holds a record of 0-3 overall and an 0-1 record in conference play.

In doubles, Jhovana Brena and Mitzy Enderink scored a 6-4 win. However, the teams of Larissa Berger and Naomi Sakakibara as well as Merit Morgan and Makena Newsome dropped their matches with final scores of 6-2 to drop the doubles point.

Heading to singles competition, Larissa Berger scored North Greenville's lone point with a victory in two sets. Mitzy Enderink and Naomi Sakakibara would put up good fights in their matches, but would come up short.

NGU will return to action on Saturday, March 20th against the University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, North Carolina.
