Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders clinched a share of the Conference Carolinas West Division with a 3-1 victory over the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College this afternoon in Hayes Gymnasium. NGU took the first two sets before Belmont Abbey responded by winning the third set. A competitive fourth ended with a run by NGU to win in and put the match on ice. With the win, the Crusaders are guaranteed at least a share of 1st place in the Conference Carolinas West Division. A win against Lees-McRae on Wednesday, November 10th would secure 1st place as well as the #1 seed in the west division.

- A competitive opening set features several momentum shifts throughout. A 4-1 start by BAC was answered by an 8-2 run by NGU, which was then answered by a 6-3 run by Belmont Abbey. Late in the set, North Greenville would have the final run, ending the set with an 8-2 run to win it 25-19.
- NGU would never trail in set two. After a 6-2 run to start things off, North Greenville would pull away for good in the set with a 9-2 run to lead 17-9. From there, the two teams would mostly alternate points, but that would be enough as NGU would take set two 25-17.
- Belmont Abbey would take an early 6-1 lead to begin set three and would hold on to a manageable lead for the majority of the set. North Greenville would near a comeback by cutting the deficit to one, but BAC would end the set scoring four of six to win the third set 25-23.
- Set four started off as the most competitive set of the match, with neither team able to run away from the other. Down one, NGU would put up a 5-1 run to lead 18-15. Not long after, North Greenville would finish off the set with a 7-1 run to win the final set 25-18.

- Abigail Durham led in kills with a total of thirteen. She also contributed with three digs and three block assists.
- Emilie Allen recorded ten total kills along with five digs.
