North Greenville took care of business with a 3-0 victory over the Tigers of Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. The Crusaders thoroughy dominated the match, winning all three sets by double digits. NGU had a solid night with a .307 attack percentage.

• North Greenville put together a strong opening set, posting a .355 attack percentage while the Tigers struggled with a -.031 percentage. NGU would lead early and pull away throughout the set. Eventually, the Crusaders would end it on a 5-1 run to easily take set one 25-15.
• Set two would be more of the same with the Crusaders putting up their highest attack percentage of the night, a .367 percentage while Benedict improved with a .154 percentage. The Tigers would hang in there early on, but NGU would take charge, ending the set on a 16-3 run to win it 25-11.
• The Crusaders slowed down in the final set, posting a .185 attack percentage. However, a .042 percentage by Benedict would still allow NGU to take the set rather easily. North Greenville would put together multiple small runs throughout the set, and would ultimately win it 25-13.
