North Greenville shot 46-percent from the field on Saturday and just 58-percent from the free-throw line. Belmont Abbey doubled-up the Crusaders with 40-points in the paint compared to just 24-points for NGU.

North Greenville’s only lead of the day came two minutes into the first quarter when a Muhammed three-pointer made it 3-2. BAC scored 23-points in both the first and second quarters and kept the Crusaders at bay offensively.

The loss to Belmont Abbey snapped a five-game winning streak for the Crusaders that dated back to January. It was the longest streak of the season for North Greenville and the longest since the 2016-2017 season.
