A game that was closely contested for much of the night, North Greenville led most of the final stretch before the Fleet earned a 68-67 lead with 4:52 left in the game. The Crusaders led the rest of the way and were out front by as many as eight points, a 79-71 edge with 1:15 left in the game. The Fleet threatened but North Greenville answered each challenge including going 8-8 at the free-throw line in the final minute to finish off the visiting Erskine.

The Crusaders finished the night with five players in double-figures including the previously highlighted Donehew and Muhammed. Savannah Hughes tacked on 12-points while Haley Luttrell had 10-points.
