Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the King Tornado with a score of 3-1. King's attack proved to be highly efficient, recording just eight attack errors with just three of those in the final three sets. Caroline Forster had another strong match, posting her season-high 19 kills and a team season-high .692 attack percentage.

NGU was off to a strong start to begin the first set, building a 10-6 lead. King kept it close throughout the set, but were unable to even up the score at any point. A kill by Catherine Lant put an end to the set with the Crusaders taking it 25-21.

Set two began as a competitive one with the score being tied five times early on. With the Tornado leading 13-10, they would go on to dominate the remainder of the set, finishing with a 12-4 run to win it 25-14.

North Greenville once again got off to a strong start in set three to lead 8-3. However, momentum swung to King's side as they would respond with an 8-2 run to lead 11-10. Six ties would follow before the Torndao would begin to pull away, leading 21-17. NGU would close the lead, but the Tornado were able to hang on to take the set 25-22.

King dominated the majority of set four, building a one-sided 13-4 lead. North Greenville put up a fight to close the deficit to five, but from there the Tornado would close out the match to win the final set 25-19.

The Crusaders will head to Central, South Carolina to face the Southern Wesleyan Warriors on Saturday, November 9th.
