Box Score Tigerville, SC - North Greenville suffered a 74-60 defeat to the Rams of Columbia International University in NGU's first home game of the season. The Crusaders were previously undefeated against CIU, but the Rams played strong with a 41.4 field goal percentage and 21 points off turnovers. Roderick Howell led in points for the second straight game with 17.
1st Half
North Greenville pulled ahead early with an 8-3 lead. They would lead by as much as eight before CIU put together a 10-0 run to take their first lead. The two teams put together several buckets to end the half with a 27-27 tie. Howell led the Crusaders with 11 points. North Greenville shot 43.3% from the field in the half.
2nd Half
The Crusaders were able to reclaim the lead early on in the half, but the Rams would quickly take it back and run away with it. Leading 56-51, Columbia International put the game away with a 16-4 run to take a 72-55 lead with 3:45 left. NGU would close out the game with five of the final seven points, but CIU would ultimately take the win. The Crusaders shot 41.4% in the second half with Ryan Mobley leading with 13 points.

Roderick Howell recorded 17 points and 8 rebounds. He also blocked 2 shots.
Ryan Mobley scored 15 points and was solid on defense with 3 steals.
