Box Score Wilson, N.C. – North Greenville ‘s season came to an end on Tuesday night with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-16) loss to Barton College in the first round of the Conference Carolinas playoffs.
The Crusaders struggled offensively, hitting just .099 as a team, committing 16-errors. The Bulldogs, who earned the top overall seed in this season’s conference playoffs hit .306 as a team with 45-kills and just eight errors. The Bulldogs also got help from the service line dishing out nine aces.
North Greenville had two aces, one each from Kenzie Pierce and Courtney Adams. Brittany Tepedino was the only player with double-digit kills for NGU with 10. Pierce finished the night with four kills while Samantha Hebb had five. Madison Pogue wrapped up her college career with 24-assists and nine digs.
North Greenville finishes the season 18-13 overall and 7-9 in Conference Carolinas play.
