Tigerville, S.C.—Yomi Adeyeye pounded 12 kills, and
Elizabeth James added 32 assists to her team leading total, as the Crusaders
cruised to their second straight Conference Carolinas win.
The Crusaders were solid on the offensive side of the net
finishing the game with a .258 hitting percentage. The Crusaders finished
strong, staying about the .300 mark in the final two sets, including a game
high .333 mark in the second frame. The Falcons struggled at the net, hitting
at a .152 clip for the game.
Hannah Helbert also had double digit kills for the Crusaders
with 10, and led the Crusaders with a .304 hitting percentage. Codiann Amis led
the Crusaders with 16 digs while Pfeiffer’s Haley Denny led all players with
17.
The Crusaders improved to 5-21 on the season, and 3-9 in
Conference Carolinas play. North Greenville is currently one game out of 8th
place and will battle for the final spot in the Conference Carolinas playoffs.
The Crusaders will host Belmont Abbey tomorrow afternoon at one o’clock and
Clafflin University at 4 in Hayes Gymnasium.
